can this clean filthy kitchen cabinets and greasy walls ?
Hi, Cabinets definitely, the terry cloth attachment is great for that.
Walls not so much. Either paint or wallpaper is going to be affected by the
steam. On its lowest setting perhaps but probably best to wipe manually.
I referred yr demo to a forum-chat thread addressing the best way in
defrosting one’s deep freezers en freeze compartments within a two
compartment refrigerator. Your demo overlooked and/or failed to mention the
extra advantage using the steam nozzle in removing “hardened” ice in
freezers esp. during sudden defrosting required. I have a similar steam
model from Karcher and it works incredibly fast too. Ladies wud appraise it
even more knowing this other far less stressful option. 🙂
Hi, Very good point. The model used can certainly be used effectively for
defrosting freezers but due to it size and weight we stock a handheld Steam
Cleaner that is practically designed for the job. We are in the process of
producing a special video for this as well. Thanks
Wonderful & thanx for with the acknowledgement of the other “defrosting”
option. Sure look forward to your demo soon focussing the defrosting
result. I’m sure there will be more appraisals shared for its ourcome MOST
ppl esp. the housewives, for not realizing this incredible impact with the
Karcher steam cleaner. 🙂 I would like to add further, given the 3-meter
attached hose and even with the handle-bar grip which is just some 25cm
further out from the index finger.
Most surfaces can be cleaned with a steam cleaner. Start with a very low
setting and a bit of distance between the nozzle and the surface and take
it from there. The plastic coating is deigned to resist heat and liquids
which is exactly what the Steam cleaner emits. Obviously if there are any
cracks or damage to the surface the steam cleaner could do it no good
Is it suitable for cleaning carpets?
Is there window attachment included? The handle gets a bit hot right?
Which attachment to use for carpet?
Our Benefits of Steam Cleaning video proved popular over the weekend!
Benefits of steam cleaning – Karcher
This is exactly what I want to know too. I bought SC1020 but realised that
it can’t be used for carpets unlike H2O Mop or Morphy Rich’s 9in1. Would be
good to know if there is an attachment for carpet.
Hi nice video but u don’t actually show the cleaned surfaces after you’ve
cleaned them customers want to see this just a suggestion
does this steam clean recaro seats?
You should be OK to use the steam cleaner on brick, but if you’re worried
about drainage then it’s a good idea to carry an old towel or cloth with
you to mop up the excess water as you go. Thanks!
Absolutely – just be careful that you don’t allow steam into the car’s
electrical areas (CD player/radio etc) and that the seats are completely
dry before you sit in them!
I bet there are plenty of clean patios and cars out there after watching
this weekend’s most popular video!
Benefits of steam cleaning – Karcher
would like this because my son is asthmatic and chemicals for me are a no
but haven’t seen the results of the cleaning need to see results
I have the same steam Cleaner But i can’t figure out how to make it work
I’ve read reviews where people have reported leaky joints, causing steam to
escape and scald your hands. Is this a common problem?
Cool Gadget! Thanks for the Video, gonna buy one today…
Can someone confirm if these cannot be used on carpets? Doesn’t seem to be
mentioned on website or in manual, nor does there appear to be a suitable
I bought this steam cleaner and want to returne it because it is not work
useful because you need to stop it each 10 second to collect steam and
press it again to use it
It is terrible you can not use it continuasly for atleast 1 minute. you can
notice that from the video ..he release the nossle after 5 second .
I love my Karcher. the water in the tank lasts long enough for me to clean
all my bathroom, kitchen then my tiled floors. I wish more attachments
came with it. I need the window attachment. and a dusting attachment.. only
prob I have is the floor attachment sometimes falls off the wand. maybe I’m
just doing something wrong.
